What to pack for your trip

  • Lightweight, breathable clothing in neutral colors – Avoid bright colors or white as they can attract bugs or scare off animals.
  • Long-sleeve shirts and long trousers to protect against the sun and mosquitoes.
  • Comfortable walking shoes/boots – If you’re planning any walking or hiking safaris.
  • A warm jacket or fleece because the mornings and evenings can be chilly.
  • Swimwear, for a dip in our pools!
  • Socks and underwear. Cotton is best for comfort and breathability.
  • A hat or cap to protect your face and neck from the sun.
  • Sunglasses. Preferably with a strap so they don’t fall off.
  • A lightweight waterproof jacket for unpredictable weather or potential rain showers.
  • Scarves or bandanas. These can be useful for warmth, sun protection, or to cover your face during dusty drives.
  • Passport and necessary visas.
  • Travel and health insurance documents.
  • Any necessary medication and prescriptions.
  • Personal toiletries.
  • High SPF sunscreen.

testimonial

What a special place with special people and not forgetting some special animals too. The level of hospitality was exceptional. The setting on the Mara river was magical. The owners have made great progress in a decade to create this amazing rewinding project and their ambition going forward is equally exciting.
